Half Moon Cay, The Bahamas

Have you ever heard of this island? Also known as Little San Salvador is a private island in the Bahamas which belongs to one of the cruise line, Carnival. It’s a wild beach and the heaven. Why is so unique this beach?

A 2-mile beach with white sand and curved outwards on each end forming a half moon shape, hence the name Half Moon Cay. Surrounded by green vegetation, colorful cabanas and beach villas a remarkable day will be.

The horse riding by see or by land is a great experience. Firstly you will start with a short tram riding to the orientation which brings you to the highest point of the island. A great memorie photo of the panoramic view of Half Moon Cay and the surrounding Bahamian islands you will get.

Kayaking should also be on your bucketlist. You’ll see the clear water very deep. The numerous species of flora ranging from red mangrovesto the ornamental silver buttonwood tree are in there.

Snorkel by boat, “put your snorkeling gear and bring your sense of adventure”. Traveling by boat to a side off the coast of Half Moon Cay and get an up-close view into the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Snorkeling into waters teeming with gloriously colored fish, anemones and coral. The guide will assist you in case of needed.

A beach villa is available to enjoy the ultimate luxury beach day with private sun deck. With 4 bars on the beach you can stay there enjoying the drinks and soaking up the sun. The breakfast and lunch are served by the cruise staff in a specially arranged place, not at the beach this time.

You also can have a relaxing day and experience a tropical massage from one of the crew in one of the cabana with the sea view.

Maybe you even want to get married in a white church Bahamian style, have an exotic wedding and some dream pictures. If this is your plan then you should book a cruise in advance and the crew staff will help you with all the preparations for your dream wedding.

The people who live on the island, who are few are very welcoming. By the entrance of the island where the tender will drop you, the people are there waiting for you to teach you how to dance in the bahamian style.

Isle of Capri is a small point on the map of Italy, is an island in Naples, Italy. A unique views, mountainous island in the Tyrrhenian Sea. About 40 minutes by ferry from Napoli.

Is a tourist island visited annually by over half a million people and is super expensive one. You’ll find there only the big designers and only luxury restaurants. It can be a dream vacation, a luxurious one but make sure you take some money out of your wallet.

You can stay only at the port, go to the top where the luxury is or visit the highest point, Monte Solaro. There is a pretty restaurant. It is unbelievable what view it will wait for you there. Make sure you’ll catch the sunset.

So, if you will read my article and decide to visit Capri make sure you wanna visit the Faraglions, Capri’s most iconic sight. Either from the top they can be seen but the best way is by boat. Your captain will sail right through the stone archway of the Faraglione and if you’re with your lover make sure to kiss each other while passing through for good luck!

The Faraglions are rocky formations of the coast formed by waves erosion. The highest of them is 109 meters and is called Stella. On these rocks there are a lot of blue lizards, a very rare species.

There are 2 beaches for a dip in a shadow of the Faraglioni. La Fontelina and Da Luigi. Wanna mention that they are rochy beaches. The easiest way to reach is a ferry which will bring you to Marina Piccola.

This colorful water gave me the extreme energy of loving nature even more, enjoying that place and being very gratefull for everything I got to see.

Bilbao, Spain

HIDDEN TREASURES ”OF EUROPE, BILBAO, situated in northern Spain is very different from many other Spanish cities that you may have visited. Here you will not meet Portuguese or North African influences as in Andalusia and you will not enjoy an extensive beach like in Valencia or Barcelona.

What you will find instead are internationally famous museums, impressive modern architecture and the Basque culture.

The Guggenheim Museum of Contemporary Art is certainly the most famous attraction, but the list of recommendations also includes the Museum of Fine Arts, the Archaeological Museum and the Maritime Museum. Each neighborhood has its own personality, and the old center is full of life all week.

What is Bilbao famous for?

Bilbao combines a stylish vintage district, an industrial heritage, and stunning modern architecture in one of the largest cities in northern Spain.

Nassau, The Bahamas

In the early 18th century, Bahamas was conquered by pirates and declared a “Pirate Republic”, which then attracted other shady characters such as the famous Edward “Blackbeard” the pirate. Mansions, cathedrals and fortresses have been beautifully preserved.

Get ready and enjoy Viola’s Bar, Margaritaville, Fish Fry and Senor Frogs. All of them plays the best island music with different topic of food.

I was so exciting of beeing in Bahamas and I love visiting the island and dicover so many good things.

Chichén Itzá, the Mayan Ruins

Chicken Itza is the largest ruin complex in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, one of the largest Mayan cities in the world.
The massive pyramid is known as El Castillo or Temple of Kukulcan.
The ruins were built by the Maya people, Chicken Itza beeing a pre-Columbian city.
The pyramids are 1500 years old. Every day, thousands of tourists from all over the world come to visit this spectacular piramide.
Why is named Chicken Itza?
CHI = mouth
CHEN = well
ITZA = of the Itza tribe
The story sounds like the people were occasionally throwing into the nearby cenote sacrificially ans those who survived were believed to be seers.

There is 2 hours drive from Merida by car and 3 hours from Cozumel.

Expect to be super hot and crowd there.

I also want to specify also that you’re allowed with your mobile phone at no charge. GoPro or other camera is a charge of $5

I bet the history of the temple is also very important, that’s the reason you are going there probably. You wanna find out what actually happend. So before you go, here’s a little bit of it.

The structure is 24 meters tall, 6 meters just for the temple top.

Did you know that the day and the night were equal? Believe me, it is true.
The equinoctial phenomenon of light and shade known as “the descent of Kukalcan”. The Mayan, great astronomers and precise in numerical calculations, created this building “El Castillo”, specially with an exact and mathematical design after making numerous calculations and measurements.
This monumental “Castillo” raised over the yucatecan plain, is a pyramid of nine staggered bodies, measuring 60 meters per side and 30 meters of high. The each side there are stairs and a temple in the superior part.
Specialists and investigators of diverse disciplines have agreed that this pyramid is a representation of the Mayan civil calendar: “coach side hs 91 steps, multiplied by the four sides giving a total of 364, plus one beeing the platform and adding a total of 365 days of the years.

When spring and autumn equinoxes take place the great Chicken Itza is the scene of the surprising phenomenos called “of light and shade”.
The position of the sun coincided with high accuracy with the steps of “El Castillo of Kukulcan” to gradually proiect on the balustrade of the northeast, seven triangles of light that form, to to bottom and defining triangle by triangle, the silhouette of the feathered serpent that measures about 34 meters long.
In 21 of March the sun eluminate those seven triangles at one side only till the equinox is on 21 of Septembre, when the other side of triangls is beeing eluminated.
The spectacular culminating moment of the phonomen shows how the light arrives to the stone head of the God- serpent in the ground where the stairs begin.
Expectation, silence, admiration…everything is concentrated in this extraordinary phenomen. And while the sun projects its mysterious and extensive shade on the Northern stairs, each step is illuminated littel by littel. This process lasta nearly five hours and its observed approximately for 45 minutes.

Glad you reach the end of my story! 😊

Playa del Carmen

One of my greatest passions is to explore new places, to learn new cultures and to meet people from all over the world. My job helps me to fulfill my dream.

I was recently in Playa del Carmen, one of the island I really wanted to visit.

And there I was 😍

Either from Cozumel or Cancun is very easy to reach, around 30 minutes by ferry ⛴, only $18 both ways. Not bad!

Many years ago it was just an island of fishermen, nothing else. Over time, tourism has grown rapidly with the help of ferryboats and cruise ships that carried tourists from world.

It’s the perfect place to escape from the crowds of Cozumel, Cancun, Chetumal … The beaches are very clean, the white and fine sand waiting to get new visitors. Everything is in the harbor. Stores, restaurants, stalls, beaches and beautiful shows on top of it.

Shopping is good quality and affordable, tax free !!! Handmade collections very easy to find, also let’s not forget about the big designers who are very famous are there.

The food is delicious. No complaint 😁My favorite “quesadilla con pollo y una servesa por favor” tacos y avocado.

The beaches even if they are full of tourists are quiet and clean. No aquatic activities. Along the are plenty of restaurants with various traditional food, umbrellas and chairs. The sun’s rays are so strong, ready to get you a perfect tan!

Let me know if you have been there! Can’t wait to hear your story too 😍

Porto Venere and CinqueTerre

Porto Venere or CinqueTerre?

Porto Venre, located on the coast of Liguria is just an incredible small town.

I will talk only about Grotta di Byrron, the only one I wanted to visit going there beeing impressed of the pictures on social media. One of the natural places with incredible beauty, a cave that does not show what’s hiding behind. I liked what a saw.

A steep cliff, plenty of people sitting on rocks below, taking advantage of the sun’s rays and of the emerald water. If you would see that crystal water, it’s a sock. I couldn’t miss a swim.

The harbor promenade full of shops, stalls and restaurants but not big brands stores.

Ristorante Le Bocche, situated right on the waterfront, a very selective restaurant, pleasant and quiet with an amazing view.

The most famous place of Liguaria which is not to be missed is CinqueTerre. I am pretty sure you heard about it or saw some pictures.

There is it! Super close to each other. Take the train and in just a few you’ll be there.

So let me tell you. There are 5 small villages situated on the coastline. I went to each one of them by train.

It looks so unreal those houses built on the coast with an incredible sunrise and sunset view. I wish I could have that every day. It’s impressive how each of them have a different color. Looks like a childhood book.

In Manorola there is a great place to eat situated also on the coastline.

Check this out ⬇️

I would suggest you to avoid July and August cause is terrible hot and crowded.

Caribbean is always a good choise for vacation.
Cozumel, the island in the Caribbean Sea located on the eastern coast of Mexico has developed on the basis of tourism, so it got the destination for almost all the cruise ships that dock there.

The port is massive. Believe me, always super crowded. Restaurants, bars where the parties are going on since breakfast time, shops all in one.

Now, I most of the time was going to Hotel B, by taxi only. Only 20 minutes drive, not that bad.

There is a choise for you to take a day pass which is only about 40 bucks and some of them get the chance to use for food and drink. With 2 infinity pools, jacuzzi on top of the sea I bet you won’t regret a day there! 😎 Let me show you something more interesting

As for holiday planning I wanna mention that in Cozumel there is a tropical savanna climate. That means that a dry season is very short, from February to April and during the rest of the year is wet season. It’s a possibility for storms but never cold wheater. Still, yoy can enjoy the sunshine and the tan.

Now, I would like to share a little of of my experience with dolphins. They are some gorgeous mammals. Cery friendly, very smart and a very well developed feel so that can protect themselves during sleeping time. Also, i was very happy to hear that the skin can heel fast in case of any shark bite, accident, scratch.

For myself it was a special and beautiful moment, I could touch, swim and take some pictures. It is also very sad because some of them don’t get the chance to live in the wild where they supposed to be, unfortunately.

Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park you wanna try.🐬🐬🐬

Where in the Pacific?

I have 3 islands in the Pacific to talk about it today.

I will start with New Zealand which is an island country, composed of two very large islands and a few small islands, situated in the South-West Pacific Ocean.

Wellington, the capital city and Tauranga, the most popular city of the North of New Zealand.

Wellington, beeing as well the second most populos city of New Zealand and is more a formal city. It’s exception for shopping and a littel bit expensive.

Tauranga is very populated city, perfect place for the beach, for hiking. It’s full of vegetation.

An exotic destination that is not to be missed is Vila, Vanuatu. Port Vila is the most important city and capital of Vanuatu. Located in the southern Pacific Ocean, it is at a distance of 1700 km from Australia. The island country of Vanuatu being an archipelago, has another 70 islands.

Although they have developed through tourism, being the main branch but also agriculture and fishing, the country is receiving foreign aid from New Zealand and Australia.

Malaysians, Asian, European and Polynesian but Malaysians include Vila Port on the largest surface.
It is good to know that the languages spoken are English and French.

Now, if you’re thinking about a vacation, it’s good to schedule between November and May, being the warm weather. In the rest of the year the climate is slightly cooler, with a minimum of 20 degrees. It is good to consider that it is a country prone to hurricanes because alisee winds make their presence from December to April.

I have more to say about the famous Blue Lagoon, there I spent most of the day. I also made a small tour of the city and I visited a beach. It is good to know that every beach you go there is a tax of $20 Australian to get in but rewarding I say.

The lagoon, 70 meters long and 40 meters wide, surounded of banquets, what elese to ask for?

…and now I remember every single moment😎On the tree, sitting above the crystalline water, leaving the rays of the sun to hit my face, my body and forgetting about absolutely everything.

An the last one to talk about in this article is the exotic island “Isle of Pines”. This one be visited only by ship, there are no hotels where to stay.

Located in the Pacific Ocean, east of Australia in the archipelago of New Caledonia with a French collectivity and the nickname “The Closest Island to the Paradise” belongs to it.
The island is not very large but has a great lagoon where you can do scuba diving, snorkeling and the coral and tropical fish can be seen in clear water.

I was very fascinated by the beauties of nature, although it gave me the little thought of cannibal island being in the past. I have explored the island, walking through the forest, sunbathing and snorkeling.

Very friendly local people.

Things to do in Barcelona

I could speak a lot of Barcelona, a place of the arts, the constructions reflecting the architectural avant-garde.
Beach, mountains, modern clubs, football, museums ??? If yes, stop thinking and the next holiday destination must be Barcelona.

Did you know that is the largest with a population with 1.6 milions after Madrid?

The historical center of the city stretches over a flat area while the hills surround the new and modern city.

Las Ramblas is the most famous and great boulevard going from the city center to the water front. Full of restaurants and cafes, shops, stalls, street artists, florists, bird vendors you can also see La Boqueria food market and Plaça Reial Square with incredible palm trees.

This is my favorite restaurant, located on top of the hotel. 1989

Sagrada Família cann’t be missed. An immense church, started the construction in 1882 but unfortunately works on it today. Why ?? Is not funded from public money the budget being just donations and receipts from entry tickets. €40 the ticket fee and you should do the booking online in advance, atleast 3 days otherwise no chance to go in.

Climate, well if you want to stay at the beach you have to choose a summer season. With a Mediterranean climate and with high temperatures up to 30 degrees in summer, in winter you may have snow and autumn is usually very rainy.

If you’re looking for night life, there is also. The location of the clubs is at the beach. A street full of clubs. Each club has a different topic. The one I liked the most was Pacha.

Have fun!

Amalfi Coast

The place that most impressed me in Europe was Amalfi Coast, located in southern Italy. Why? Besides the spectacular landscapes that the coast has the inhabitants have built houses on the steep coast. The whole coast is seen only as colored houses. Very impressive.

Naples, is the closest city to Amalfi, which does have an airport and port. It’s about 2 hours driving. The whole coast is divided into several villages: Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast.

Where is the best pizza in Italy??? YESSS… is Napoli. And don’t you think is better when you have this balcony view? I think so.

Sorrento is the starting point of an escape on the coast of Italy. The narrow streets of the city reflect the old city of Surrentum with many buildings dating back hundreds of centuries. I could not leave Sorrento until I tried their special drink, limoncello, Italian lemon liqueur.

Carlos Mansi, the most famous Italian for the manufacture of limincello and is headquartered on the coast in Minori, located on Amalfi Coast. In this village are found the place of the ruins of a Roman villa, they are well preserved so that today they are open for tourists visits.

Don’t you leave Sorrento until you try Ristorante Terrazza Vittoria.

Positano is followed by another structure and architecture of a very spectacular city and started to become steeper coast as when arriving in Amalfi Coast to be very steep.

The streets are very narrow, must be driven with care.

Even that the streets are very high and terrible serpents they are considered to be the most beautiful streets in the world called Nastro Azzuro. The name was associated with the calm, serenity and spirituality of both the locality and the locals who are very calm, open, ready to help at any time. We also know that blue is found in waters and in heaven, which signifies peace.

On the entire coast is a single road, where you can find shops and everything you want. The people who live at the top of the coast have to descend the high stairs and then climb them back, there is no other way.

Is not a cheap place. The restaurant where I had lunch was $200 .

Now we should reach Amalfi Coast, the actual village. Here, the centre is not on the top. So you’ll see the coast from the bottom. Here is the place where you can rent a boat and the restaurants are on a flat ground. The prices are more affordable for food here.

Is an area that must be visited at least once in life. Whoever will visit will be amazed of how beautiful nature is and what the local people have done to develop it naturally and not artificially.
